DERRRRRRP. At last...I finished it. *flops over* Been toying with this for the past 4 or so days...dumb thing kept fighting me. But I really kept feeling like I needed to get a ref out for this guy while the inspiration was still with me. ;w;

I really do wuv my Mordicai~ ;//w//; he's a crazy character. I need to make an info page about his species, the Dredje.

The voice I picture best fitting Mordicai belongs to the amazing Benedict Cumberbatch...
It's the perfect blend of a smooth and charming purr with a darker tone of sinister power to it. Seriously...I can't help but see Mordi now everytime I listen to him talk.

Usually goes by “Morgue” to his clients.
Race: Dredje
Age: 998 (late 20s-early 30’s in human equivalent)
Height: 15’6’’ (6’1’’ as a human. His height can
range vastly though depending on what form he’s in)
Weight: ….Don’t ask.  
Tentacles/Hair: Black and dark grey stripe, hair is black
in human form
Eyes: Deep red
Birthday/Sign: Unknown
Orientation: N/A. Sexuality isn’t a trait known to
his species. They reproduce out of necessity and it is not a pleasant
experience.
Status: Like sexuality, love and romance are
not commonly known or felt outside of a platonic form.
Occupation: Assassin for hire. The finest the
universe has to offer. Also one of the most expensive.  

Likes: Traveling, reading (especially classic literature),
trying new “foods”, martinis, stalking and toying with targets for lulz before finishing the job, finding new forms to try out, soup, books, going to the beach, attending operas, tending to his ship, television dramas, thrash metal  and metalcore music (it puts him into a trance and helps him relax),  having the upperhand in everything possible.

Dislikes:  Losing (He’s a terrible loser), cold weather, teenagers, pop music, people touching his dreadlocks/tentacles
his without permission, other assassins, being disrespected, being stuck in one form aside from his Dredje and human ones for long, spicy food, most solid foods, being interrupted while relaxing, traffic, impatient clients, bodyguards, damaged books.

Hobbies: Reading, researching new techniques for his work, collecting books, playing with various weaponry, learning languages, hunting (be it for work or for fun), collecting new forms and “suits”to wear from targets and random passersby, taking Holidays.

Mordicai is a character with a personality as vast as his age, he’s  diverse and can range from moments of cold, emotionless
focus to wild acts of pure silliness and a goofy carefree nature to being entirely sophisticated and full of classy charm. It all differs, depending on the role he must play and those he’s interacting in. All in all he is confident in who he is and what he can do…he’s not easily intimidated and will happily play along at any game of ego war one might wish to play…though not many can gain the upperhand against his rather narcissistic ways or earn his genuine respect. Though, those who do will have his undying respect and admiration for as long as he lives.  
More often than not he is calm and collected with a mostly good natured spirit and a sassy sense of humor, only giving into the extremes when pushed one way or another by the situations around him.

Predding type: Fatal, Non-fatal, Instinctual, Consensual, Non-Consensual, Play, Torment, Comfort, Protective…basically, he’s a bit of everything.  OTL

He’s a fatal pred by nature, feeding on pretty much anything he can sink his fangs into, regardless of size or species. The powerful enzymes he injects into his victims liquefy their organs and bones, allowing him to quite literally suck them dry. Dredje are even known to nurse several meals out of one victim if they are considerably larger. Sometimes he does skip the draining and will swallow prey whole if they’re small enough to get down without much trouble or if he feels like shifting himself to a larger size…though this is not something he does terribly often unless he wishes to torment the target or if he doesn’t have any need to keep the body afterwards.

Another feature about his species is the ability to absorb knowledge from his victims. Dredje have two stomachs, a storage chamber and a stomach which actually digests their prey. Within the storage chamber, he can basically feed off of the knowledge of his prey, allowing him to learn anything they know in regards to themselves, their past and any skills they might have.
This is highly useful for his area of work.

While he’s fatal by nature, he does not always nom to kill…he often enjoys teasing smaller friends by nomming them without warning or consent. Despite his frightening appearance and ornery nature, he’s surprisingly gentle even within the midst of prank nommings…
He’s a practiced and very experienced pred, well aware of his skills and limits…knowingwhat he can and cannot do to prevent harming friends even in play.
He can even be a bit nice about it…if he knows someone enjoys the nommings, that is…

When it comes to size, Mordicai enjoys being the “giant”…he finds it amusing and likes to toy and tease the little ones…out of genuine pestering or simply out of a fond teasing nature. But he’s not against being the small one either…he’s pretty relaxed about it and takes it in stride. So long as you don’t bother him, he’ll be fine and rather amiable…but poke him one time too many and you could find yourself with a snarly Dredje latched onto your finger, pumping paralyzing venom into your veins. Never a fun experience….
