My Giants-
Alright…for those of you who are curious, I've been meaning to just write out some things about my take on giants. This is my PERSONAL TAKE…my attempt to make them original. I consider them to be my own race of giants, if you will…
My giants are called "Faron" which translates from Elvish as "Hunter". In my world, Elvish was the mother language of Earth in the beginning of time after Elyon, the God King created the universe. So it is a deeply rooted name. Though most know them simply as Regalian Giants now.
They are very beastly and animalistic in some of their traits. I did that for a reason. I'm trying to be original. The giants in my world and for my story are pretty much designed to be the ultimate predator. On Earth anyways.
This is just some of the traits my own kind have, for those of you who are interested.
My info/take on Giants-
(this is my take on them…the part that makes them my own race of giant)
-My giants come specifically from Irish or Scottish heritages. I realize there are giants in legends all around the world. But I chose my types to be from Celtic origin. They separate themselves into "Clans" and long ago the Scottish and Irish sides were mortal enemies before they were forced to side together for a mutual cause when the Mythicals joined forces against the humans.
- They age much slower than humans.
It takes them 4 years to age the equivalent of what a human ages in 1 year. So a Faron that would be the equivalent of their mid-20s would be 100 years old. Their adult years stretch out a little differently too, basically their aging slows down after they hit their prime and their "adult and middle age" years last longer than a human's and in general they live quite a bit longer than a human would. So if you were to compare it to a human it would look something like this-
0-15: Youth
16-25: Young Adult
26-75: Adult
76-100: Middle age
100+: Elderly
So in general Faron live to be at least 400 years old...many making it well beyond that.
-They're big creatures, ranging from 90-130ft, depending on their diet and what region they're from.
They're the biggest creatures on earth after hill trolls and krakkens.
-They're intelligent. Not dumb like the portrayal in books and movies.
-Their sense of smell is super keen. Like…beyond bloodhound keen in some cases. Strong smells like flowers or garlic can overwhelm a giant and cause a lot of problems.
- They have pointed ears. Very elvish. It grants them fairly keen hearing as well. They are mobile and can swivel, perk and lower as a pair.
-Their eyesight isn't fantastic for incredibly long distance, though it's average near and up close. They also literally give off a gleam or glow during certain emotions or in the dark. If a light is shone into them they will also reflect, the way a cat or dog's eyes will.
-They have an extra set of eyeteeth, and their main eyeteeth are elongated as fangs. This is for the purpose of ripping and tearing into tough meat.
-They have a limited control over their own stomach, allowing them to digest a meal at their own pace. Naturally they can digest at a faster rate than a human due to their highly potent stomach acids and fast acting metabolism, but in the event that food sources are scarce, they can also slow the process down to milk the nutrients of their meal over a process of a day or two…kinda like a reptile. This is for their own safety.
-Their stomach is about one and a half times the size of what a human's would be should they be on the same scale.
-The longer a giant goes without food, the quicker they lose their grasp on reality and sanity. They begin to revert back to a much more primal form, like the giants in older folklore, they slip back into a more savage state that has no reason and no conscience and their emotions become raw and brutal. They go "Feral". They'll eat anything and everything and attack anyone until they've fed and the balance has been restored.
-They purr. Yes. They purr. Like a giant housecat. My giants are very animalistic in their traits, so it seemed fitting to give them a quirk like purring. I'd never seen anyone with purring giants before, so I claim this as my own.
-They roar. Just like purring, it seemed like a fitting trait. A giant's roar is a terrible sound. Piercing at the start, thundering from the middle to the end. Think of a mix between a bear, a lion and a dragon. I've never seen anyone else's take on a giant roar. So I claimed this as well.
-They're magic casters. I realize there are others who have magic using giants, that's fine. Just saying this doesn't tend to be something common though. Most of my giants aren't strong in the finer arts of magic, but they tend to have natural affinities towards elemental magics; fire, water, air, earth electricity ect.
-Naturally they're carnivores, much like cats and dogs, but over time they've adapted into omnivores. Though meat is a necessary staple in their diet whether they enjoy live prey or not, though a good number of my kind do. They usually satisfy the craving through non-fatal games, or by hunting and consuming prey like goblins, small trolls or pixies, even cattle or deer in some cases, since humans are technically protected in their homeland and those who aren't are very few.
-Almost ALL giants have an affinity towards peppermint. The smell, the taste…everything. This is a random trait that mostly comes from my own love for peppermint. But it seemed fitting for them as well. Peppermint is considered to be something soothing and cleansing; it cleans their sense of smell and taste and helps them to relax.
Peppermint is in the same family as catnip and given the feline tendencies that Faron have, it seemed fitting.
While giants are not an original species, the Faron and their traits are my own personal take on them and as such are a closed race. Just because I'm sharing this info with you all isn't an open invite to create your own without first asking permission. It's only polite.
I swear I'm not trying to be a b**** about any of this...I've just been meaning to post something like this for a very long time.
If you have questions, I'd be happy to answer…;u;

Who here likes Dragons?
Signal boosting time! Most of you who have followed me a while know my good buddy @mistress0minx and some of you may remember the funded Kickstarters she ran last year to print the first episode of her webcomic "Saints' Quarter" and merch to match. Well…she is now running a KS to print the second episode of Saints' Quarter!~ The project is already 86% funded with 10 days left to back. If you aren't familiar with the series...it is a dark blend of urban fantasy and horror with a diverse and inclusive cast of characters and a wide range of really cool creatures. (including dragons~ *wink* ) I am a huge fan and I highly recommend it! For those who are curious about Saints' Quarter, you can read the ongoing webcomic here - http://saintsquarter.com/ And for those interested in backing the Kickstarter and getting physically printed comics (which are absolutely GORGEOUS and badass looking btw. I bought multiples of Episode One so I could have one to lend out and one to
New Story and a Bunch of Nerds
Happy October, my dear humans! I hope this finds you all safe, healthy and well during this most spectacularly spooky time. Sadly getting a bit of a late start on content for Halloween. Gonna try and get some spooky doodles done very soon~ But... I do have a new story to share! Another RP story collab with my bud @mistress0minx It's something VERY different from our usual content. (Still g/t, no worries~) Readers be warned that it will be a rather dark and bloody start to this story, with a pretty consistent theme of blood and gore involved. Fitting for Halloween~ But I can promise you that there will be an immense amount of g/t fluff, sizey goodness, bonding and awkward sweetness involved as well. So hopefully that will make things more bearable. ;3 I am particularly fond of this story and greatly enjoyed working on it with Minx. I hope you guys will enjoy reading it as well! I’m just finishing some editing. The first part of “Fever Dreams” should be up within the next day or
Who likes cool stuff?
My buddy @mistress0minx is running another Kickstarter for her comic Saint’s Quarter. This time for a really badass and adorable merch set of charms, pins and stickers. Go check it out and maybe consider supporting this awesome artist! Thanks, guys! http://kck.st/326Urr1
The Giant's Flask~
Hey guys! Hope this finds you all safe, healthy and well! Got something kinda cool and exciting to share with you~ We recently discovered that, as of right now, DA groups still seem to function relatively close to how the old site did. So in an effort to recapture that old site feel, @mistress0minx and @Osric09 have been hard at work creating a group to act as a sort of central hub and gallery for all of the stories, art and works that have been done by @mistress0minx, @Osric09 , @MythrilMog and myself~ https://www.deviantart.com/the-giants-flask Here, you can find all manner of stories, art, drabbles and scribbles of everything we have collabed together on over the past decade. We're trying to go in the order of when things were uploaded into our galleries so you will find some pretty old (but hopefully still enjoyable ;3 ) pieces in there starting out. It's a fun little throwback~ There will be plenty of G/t, vore and fluff content both new and old and we will do our

If it is alright with you, may I create my own Faron oc's? I most likely won't use them for much other then rp. But I just want to ask first, sense you are the original creator of said species. If not it's that is fine, I understand if you say no. Other then that, I hope you have a great day/night!
